Ballistic Moon's remake of Until Dawn offers a few more "good" endings as consolation for the night of horrific terror the characters endure.
Ballistic Moon has released Until Dawn Update 1.05. It fixes all kinds of technical problems with the game, like Mike "sliding around" in Chapter 9's Sanatorium, performance issues for weaker PCs and the Steam Deck, crashing issues, UI prompts appearing off-screen, and more. Along with the specific fixes, the update also makes "other miscellaneous fixes," so hopefully the Until Dawn remake is a much smoother experience for all players after they download Patch 1.05.
Along with confirming what exactly it fixed with the latest Until Dawn remake update, developer Ballistic Moon has also revealed some issues that will be addressed in future updates. According to Ballistic Moon, fans can expect problems with raytracing, login issues with the PlayStation Overlay (a feature that stems from the controversial PSN account requirement), and various other graphical issues to be fixed at some point in the future. Fans can also expect problems with the Until Dawn remake's FSR and Frame Generation to be resolved, with Ballistic Moon working with AMD on fixes.
While Until Dawn fans will no doubt appreciate these problems being fixed, the bigger complaints about the game are unlikely to ever be addressed. For instance, it's highly unlikely that the divisive Until Dawn soundtrack changes will ever be reverted, and fans shouldn't hold their breath that the PSN account requirement on PC will be lifted. Still, it's good to see Ballistic Moon issue updates for the game and fix some of the technical problems that players have discovered in the Until Dawn remake since launch.
